Luxury Dog Crate Mattress, Houndstooth

Great crate cover and mattress for my new cavalier puppy .

The mattresses are superb quality with contrasting black piping around the seams; the zips are high quality with a hood to prevent the zips from opening and the mattress foam is firm and very high quality. Although the mattress cover has a water resistant backing between the padded top and the foam insert, I always put a baby cot waterproof mattress protector over the mattress insert to provide an additional layer of protection. They work very well - you can buy inexpensive 2 Pack Waterproof Cot Mattress Protector from Target at https://www.target.com.au/p/bub-fitted-cot-mattress-protectors-2-pack/64616322 that will fit the XXL mattress perfectly.

I have bought many, many crate mattresses over the years and I can honestly say that these crate mattresses are the best available. They are true to size for the dimensions of the crate as detailed in the sizing guide and fit the base of the crate perfectly from corner to corner. No other crate mattress that I have bought previously has done that. They are always considerably smaller than the crate and are usually so thin that I end up buying two per crate to provide extra padding for my boys.

I have a bumper bed in each of my Dobermanns' crates as well to provide an extra layer of comfort for them and these crate mattresses provide the perfect firm base to ensure they have maximum comfort.
