Modern Pets offers free domestic shipping on orders over $99 to most metro cities and major regional centres across Australia (excluding oversized items). Orders are typically dispatched from our Melbourne distribution centre within 1–2 business days.
Most parcels are delivered by Australia Post, though we occasionally work with other couriers. The timing of your delivery will depend on the method you choose. For those who opt for Express post, you can expect your items to arrive the following day after shipping.
Estimated delivery times for Standard Shipping:
The default shipping method is Signature Required (SR), unless Authority to Leave (ATL) is selected at checkout. If no one is home with SR, parcels will be taken to your local Post Office. If ATL is selected, we are not responsible for replacement costs if the parcel goes missing.

I received the Freestanding Retractable Dog Barrier very promptly. I was surprised that it couldn’t be attached, which may be problematic for some people. My concerns for my situation were unfounded, and it is literally saving my cat’s life while I have a dog staying with me who sees her as prey.
The freestanding dog barrier we recently ordered has been fabulous . Being adjustable it fits the space perfectly. We have had many compliments as it is much nicer than a regular pet barrier . We thoroughly recommend this product .
I received my dog barrier in perfect condition and was delivered very promptly. I am very impressed with the quality of the barrier and having the gate is fantastic. My old barrier didn't have a gate and I used to have to step over it which was a bit dangerous as I tripped on it occasionally.
I would certainly recommend this product to anyone thinking of purchasing One.
Good quality, and stylish
My young dog learnt to climb the stairs to wee and poo. I blocked off at the base of the stairs but Billy climbed through the open stairs! I then bought the retractable dog barrier and placed it at the top of the stairs. We were able to fit it perfectly and it looks attractive. Although he still climbs the stairs he cannot get into the room. I highly recommend the gate.
PS: he still has accidents down stairs!!
